Website privacy notice

How we use personal information when you visit this website or request a demo or trial.

Updated 10 September 2026

Who is responsible

Outrig Software Ltd is the controller of personal information collected through this marketing website. Our company number is 17330411 and our registered office is 3 Pollard Ave, Gomersal, West Yorkshire, BD19 4PP. For privacy questions, contact admin@outrig.co.uk.

What we collect

When you request a demo or trial, we collect your name, company and work email. You can also provide a phone number, number of drivers, number of office users and notes about your requirements. Older enquiry forms may describe your fleet size instead. Please do not include passwords, payment details, driver records or sensitive personal information in your message.

Our hosting provider processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP addresses, request times, browser information and error or security events.

Why we use it

We use your enquiry details to respond, discuss your requirements and arrange a demo or possible trial. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and managing prospective customer relationships. We also rely on legitimate interests to protect the website, prevent abuse and investigate delivery problems.

You are not legally or contractually required to submit an enquiry. We need the required contact fields to handle it. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a newsletter, create a software account or start a paid subscription. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing of your enquiry.

Who receives the information

Authorised Outrig staff handle enquiries. Vercel hosts the website and processes form requests. Resend delivers enquiry emails to our sales mailbox, which uses Google Workspace. These providers process information to deliver and secure their services. We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary to establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell enquiry information.

Processing outside the UK

These providers operate internationally, including in the United States, so information may be processed outside the UK. Their published data processing terms describe applicable transfer protections, including adequacy arrangements and standard contractual clauses with UK provisions where required. You can read the terms for Vercel, Resend and Google Workspace, or contact admin@outrig.co.uk for information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.

How long information is kept

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to answer your request and manage any continuing discussion. We decide whether continued retention is necessary by considering whether the enquiry is active, when we last heard from you, whether you have asked us to stop contact, and any legal obligation or unresolved dispute. Information needed for a later customer relationship is handled under the arrangements provided for that service. Technical and email delivery records are also subject to the providers’ retention settings and service terms.

Your right to object

You can object to our use of your information based on legitimate interests, including further enquiry follow-up, by emailing admin@outrig.co.uk. Tell us if you no longer want us to contact you.

Your other rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your information, correction, deletion or restriction of processing. Data portability applies where its legal conditions are met. Contact admin@outrig.co.uk to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity before providing personal information.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. You do not have to contact us first, although we welcome the opportunity to resolve a concern.

This notice covers the marketing website and its enquiries. Use of the Outrig software, customer operational records and third-party integrations will be covered by information supplied when access is arranged.
